🔧 Pre-Trip Inspection
Before hitting the road, always perform a thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspection of your vehicle. This helps prevent breakdowns, violations, and accidents.
Make sure to check: Brakes & Tires, Lights & Signals, Fluids & Leaks, Load Security
⏱ Hours of Service (HOS)
Stay compliant and avoid fatigue:
11-Hour Rule – Max drive time after 10 hours off-duty
14-Hour Rule – No driving after 14 hours on dutyBreak
Required – 30-minute break after 8 hours of driving
Follow HOS to drive safe and legal.
🛑 Defensive Driving
Always anticipate other drivers’ actions and maintain a safe following distance. Keep at least 6–8 seconds behind at highway speeds, and increase that gap in bad weather or low visibility. Safe space saves lives.
